This community is very exclusive, and maybe the smallest townhouse community in McLean. There are facing units on a small sidewalk. The look is similar to an urban setting, or even the street side townhomes of Old Town Alexandria. Brick sidewalks and gaslights help the mood.

McLean Ridge, or Hunting Ridge ( its legal name ) is fairly recent construction. There are upscale brick townhouses located on land just West of where Route 267 bisects McLean. This is very close to Tyson's Corner and almost ajacent to the new office complexes found between the Capitol One Building and Great Falls Street.

The big plus is location and the updated designs. These are great homes and very close to work if that happens to be Tyson's.

Madison of McLean is located close to the center of town. Just of off Route 123, and not that far from Tyson's Corner. These homes are built as two basic styles.

Years ago Evans Farm was just that - a farm. Located on Route 123, halfway from Tyson's Corner to McLean center, this property was home to an exclusive restaurant of the same name. Westerlies

The Westerlies are very close to Tyson's Corner, and one of the only contemporary townhome communities in the McLean area. Priced just right for singles and new families, you get a lot for your money - and the McLean address.

There are several floorplans ranging from 2 to 3 bedrooms, and 1 to 2 full bathes. As with most townhouses, the End Units have the most room and light. There is a small price difference depending on the size and number of bedrooms.

These homes are sold as "Condos" because some are configured as "piggy back" townhouses. The exterior maintenance is part of the monthly fees ( among other benefits ). This can be a great savings for older homes, and peace of mind if you do not want to deal with the upkeep.

There are usually homes both for rent and sale in the Westerlies, and they can move fast when they appear on the market.

You cannot get any closer to Tyson's Corner and the business and shopping zones than this community. You are in fact - in Tyson's. The developer built all brick townhouses and connected them underground to the secure parking garages under the mid-rise towers of Lillian Court condos and lofts. It sounds a little odd, but it works well. You have a private townhome, and walking out your back door puts you next to your automobile in the community's garage.

These homes are also extremely well priced for the location, and are sold quickly. There are a few investment homes here, but this is an upscale community.

The community amenities are top notch with Clubhouse, on-site staff, pool and workout facilities.

If location is good, then this is the best.
